Wickham Vineyard
Wickham vineyard is located in Botley, on the south coast between Southampton and Portsmouth, and is a great place for a day out. As well as offering an audio tour around the vineyard and winery, you can have a fine dining experience at the restaurant run by the Michelen star awarded chef Atul Kocher. There is also a nature reserve at Wickham vineyard which you are able to explore (as long as you've remembered to bring your wellies!). The vineyard was originally planted in 1984 and now covers around 7 hectares.
Wickham Row Ash Red is a medium bodied, easy drinking red wine. Made mostly from Triomphe d'Alsace and matured in oak for 10 months before it is bottled, this fruity wine is a great accompaniment to red meat and cheese. This wine is good to drink now but will keep for several years.
