Hush Heath Estate

Hush Heath Estate in Kent is the only vineyard in the UK dedicated to the production of sparkling rosé wine. With it's beautiful gardens and ancient oak woodland, the vineyard - growing Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, is nurtured alongside the orchard growing Bramleys, Cox Orange Pippin and Egremont Russets. It has been the vision of Richard Balfour-Lynn, with Stephen Skelton, the head winemaker at The English Wines Group, Owen Elias, a regular winner of the McAlpine Winemaker of the Year trophy, Hush Heaths Balfour Brut Rosé has become a modern classic, winning many prestigious international awards.

Balfour Brut Sparkling Rose

Hush Heath Balfour Brut Rosé is a blend of the three classic Champagne grape varieties - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - and made in the traditional method, but with a definite English character. It has been described as "The most exclusive English fizz on the market", with wine critic Jonathan Ray from the Telegraph suggesting that this wine is "threatening to push Nyetimber off the top spot of English sparklers".
