Bolney Wine Estate (formerly Bookers vineyard)
Bolney Wine Estate was started in 1972 as Bookers Vineyard in the heart of rural Sussex. It is a family run business, the current wine maker, Samantha Linter, is the daughter of the founders Janet and Rodney Pratt. Bolneys have seen many changes since they set up in the 70s, completing a state of the art winery in 2005 to help the goal of producing fine quality, award winning wines.

Bolney Wine Estate Dark Harvest made headlines in October 2007 when it's 2005 Dark Harvest was the joint highest scoring wine in a blind tasting of similarly priced european red wines. The tasting panel was made up of UK wine experts including two of London's top sommeliers – Laure Patry from Maze and Fabrice Hequet from La Noisette.
