Avonleigh Organic Vineyard
Although Avonleigh is a more recent vineyard they have already been awarded medals at the English and Welsh Wine Awards in both 2008 and 2009. The vineyard and the associated orchard received full organic status with the Soil Association in 2006. Traditional methods are used throughout the vineyard and the harvest is done by hand to ensure careful grape selection. Avonleigh take great care to minimise the environmental impact of the vineyard, for example flower meadows have been planted around the vineyard to encourage friendly insects and predators to help naturally control pests and diseases.
Avonleigh vineyard, on the edge of the Cotswolds, produce this lovely organic rosé. The vineyard is registered with the soil association and received full organic status in 2006. Avonleigh Organic Rosé has a delicious strawberry tastes with a fresh, crisp finish.
